About Me

Myself

My name is Michael Duller and I am a 20 year old student studying Computer Games Programming at Staffordshire University. At present I am based in Munich, Germany on a year-long placement scheme. I am currently aiming to work with 3D Graphics and Physics as an occupation, whether this be with the gaming world or not.

I am a huge fan of video games and the industry involved in creating them, which led me to my degree course. My gaming background involves mostly PC games, however my Xbox 360 shelf is beginning to fill up.

My Background

I was born in Chester, and grew up there for 4 years. The rest of my child and teen years have been spent in Grantham (Lincolnshire). I attended Sir William Robertson High School for my GCSE’s, whilst also meeting alot of my closest friends there.

I then moved onto a BTEC National Diploma in Computing at Grantham College, and with a few very close friends, moved onto Staffordshire University.

University

Whilst studying at University I have been learning a wide variety of skills, including OpenGL, Physics & AI programming and generic C/C++ techniques. I am currently working at Eurocopter in Munich, Germany as part of a placement scheme for my degree. During the course of this placement I will be expanding my knowledge and using the skills which I have gathered throughout University.

Blogging and Contacting

I decided to write this blog in order to not only just showcase my work, but to also to write about my thoughts regarding anything, ranging from gaming to politics.
